Join us for a queries and first pages panel with literary agent Penny Moore (Aevitas Creative Management). Submit your work for a chance at live feedback from Penny and our panel–plus, of course, a publishing Q&A. This event is designed to be supportive, uplifting, encouraging–and 100% introvert-friendly. (Wear pajamas! We’ll never know.)
A replay will be available 15 minutes after the end of the event, and we’ll send the link to submit your work when we register. This event will work on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
This event is open to all genres.
Queries and pages will be drawn at random, by genre, and we will get through as many as we can.
Penny Moore is a Senior Agent at Aevitas Creative Management who represents mainly children’s literature: chapter books, middle grade, young adult, and graphic novels. She also represents select upmarket adult titles with smart hooks in romance, women’s fiction, and SFF. Though her tastes are broad, she’s specifically seeking inventive works featuring diverse voices with strong plot and character development.
Moore graduated from the University of Georgia with a double degree in Linguistics and Japanese Language & Literature. During her time as an undergraduate, she also studied comparative literature at top universities in Japan and South Korea. Penny joined Aevitas in 2018, starting in the industry as an assistant/associate agent at FinePrint Literary Management in 2014, then joining Empire Literary as an agent two years later, where she built out the children’s portion of the agency’s list.
