I’ve been at Kensington Publishing since 2016. During my time in editorial, I have worked with Mysteries, Thrillers, Women’s Fiction, and Non-fiction titles. I’m primarily a character person. I need to be invested and sold on the characters and their relationships/journeys for a story to catch my eye. I also just love books that make me laugh! Non-fiction and fiction alike.

Fiction: women’s fiction, modern gothic, dark academia, book-club fiction, romantic comedies with a strong hook, historical fiction, magical realism, voice-driven mysteries, and up-market fiction/commercial literary fiction.

Nonfiction: A focus on culture, self-help, relationships, and true crime. Think Say Nothing, So You’ve Been Publicly Shamed.

For unagented submissions:

Please send a query only in the body of the email.

Do not attach manuscripts or proposals to e-mail queries.

Requested manuscripts should be Word documents unless otherwise specified, typed in 12-point font, double-spaced, and paginated. Include title and author in file name.

Please allow up to three months for a response and please refrain from calling to follow up if you haven’t heard back.
