Submission Wishlist
Nonfiction: I am interested in representing writers in the nonfiction space with a focus on historical narrative nonfiction, true crime, health and wellness, and long form investigative journalism.
Fiction: I am also looking for voice-driven debut novels. I’m a sucker for a good premise whether it is a thriller, mystery, horror, or literary fiction. If you think your book is destined to be the next book club bestseller or a cult classic that will live on forever, I want to read it!
Fun facts about me:
Thinking of real fun facts is hard, but I’ll try my best! I have a dog that looks just like Scooby Doo (his name is Jeremy). I have had a lot of jobs, including: busboy, reporter, assistant director, copywriter, and disaster relief specialist. Literary agent is where I am happiest, though. Your stories sustain me!

I’d like the next…
RIGHT NOW (March 2024) – FICTION:
ISO uplifting fiction with heart. Too many submissions lately that revel in darkness and shed no light.
ISO cartoonist/graphic novelist who is also a Taylor Swift fan.
RIGHT NOW (March 2024) – NONFICTION:
ISO a terrific sports journalist, as I have an idea for a book that has bestseller potential.
ALWAYS ON THE MENU:
Nonfiction bestseller featuring investigative journalism (think: Catch and Kill or Bad Blood) or historical narrative nonfiction that enlightens (think: anything by David Grann). In the same way that the HBO series Watchmen made so many people aware of the Tulsa Race Massacre, I want to platform storytellers whose work challenges our perceptions and starts a new conversation.
Book that blows the lid off of some kind of corrupt entity (bonus points if it’s about the United States Supreme Court), or gives a deep dive into a secretive company (think: The Smartest in the Room or When McKinsey Comes to Town)
Buzzy book with a premise that excites (think: Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow)
Romance/love story that is not roll-your-eyes-level corny. Something that’s maximally smart while also being maximally horny (think: The Idea of You)
My favorites include…
