Hi there, thanks for taking a look! I’m Calah, an editor at Hodderscape (the science fiction, fantasy and horror imprint of Hodder & Stoughton, a division of Hachette). Before I go on, please note that I only accept agented submissions.

So, what do I want?

At the moment I am primarily looking for YA and crossover novels. My main interest is fantasy, but I’ll also consider softer sci-fi (no space operas, please!). I’d love to acquire more books by Global Majority writers. Flavours of SFF/sub-genres/elements I particularly love:
