Anne Sowards

I am looking for fantasy and science fiction with characters I care about and a story I can’t put down. I’d love something with a distinct voice and a high concept, something that can attract mainstream readers as well as genre readers (like THE MARTIAN or GAME OF THRONES).

On the romance side, the same caveats about character and story apply. I’m particularly looking for romance and RomComs (both historical and contemporary) with just a sprinkling of magic featuring characters of diverse backgrounds. But I’m very open—I may not know what I want until I read it and fall in love with it.
