Hello! I have been an agent at Marsal Lyon Literary for over a decade. I represent upmarket adult fiction, middle grade fiction, and young adult fiction and have New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors on my list.  I look for contemporary and historical stories with a fresh perspective and big hook.  Currently on my wish list:

For kids:

I represent MG and YA, and am open to a range of stories:

• Contemporary stories with humor and heart.
• Adventure stories.
• Magical realism or speculative twists–prefer grounded, real world setting.
• Underrepresented voices.

For adults:

• “Book Club” reads that hit the sweet spot between literary and commercial.
• Historical fiction of all stripes, especially if bringing untold stories to light.
• Underrepresented voices.
• Strong female characters.
• Thriller/suspense that is not espionage-based.
• Female-centric stories of the American West.
• Women’s fiction that is heartfelt and humorous.
• NOT looking for genre romance, high fantasy or sci-fi for adults.
