i wrote humor and reviews and was the newspaper’s editor-in-chief in college. after, i wrote ‘feature articles’ and humor and theater reviews. i came to nyc and started at CURTIS BROWN, LTD., moved to SCHOLASTIC, moved to a now defunct newspaper syndicate UNITED FEATURES SYNDICATE (Peanuts, Garfield, etc. books), moved to glamourous Conde Nast and worked a magazine job, until WARNER BROS. recruited me to found a new business, WARNER BROS. INTERNATIONAL PUBLISHING, then i worked at HARPERCOLLINS.
