I'd like the next...

Graphic novels that pushes the edges of the genre, books that know everything that comics can do and are excited to tell a story in a new, unique way. I want to read romance that is fresh and organic, and stories that weave together fantasy and drama, horror and contemporary, and any other unlikely genre combination. I also like fun stories with a big heart and a good sense of humor-- I love reading fanfic and watching Disney Channel Original Movies, so I can stomach more than your average level of cheesiness.

Actively Looking For:

  • Adult and older-YA graphic novels
  • Queer love stories in unlikely situations
  • Paranormal stories that care just as much about the monsters
  • Fantastic worlds that I'll want to live inside of
  • Trans characters in leading roles
  • PoC-focused re-imaginings of classic stories
  • South American settings, especially not from a white perspective
  • Parts of history that no one usually focuses on, non-western, non-war-focused, and pre-BC historical fiction especially!

My favorites include...

  • Fullmetal Alchemist by Hiromu Arakawa

  • Beautiful Darkness by Fabian Vehlmann and Kerascoet
