Kevin M. O’Connor

Kevin is a Columbia University grad and the founding director of The Center for Nonfiction. He’s a literary agent with a long history in media—right where business and creative meet.

Primarily, Kevin is on the lookout for smart adult nonfiction in science, technology, and serious biography (i.e., well-known historical figures.) He’s also looking for adult nonfiction in history, journalism, and pop culture. On the kids’ side, he represents fiction and nonfiction for children ages 0-12, including middle grade and picture books. For picture book submissions, Kevin accepts text-only queries as well as those from author-illustrators.

Kevin is not a good fit for memoir, science fiction, fantasy, romance, or mysteries. He rarely takes on adult literary fiction or young adult projects.
