I’m seeking stories with a strong voice and immersive relationships particularly cozy fantasy, all things romance (romcoms, dark romance, sports romance, small town romance), romantasy, commercial book club fiction, some mystery and suspense with a strong hook, magical realism and anything that has a speculative edge to it.
Currently I’m hungry for
- Dark comedic romance like LIGHTS OUT or BUTCHER & BLACKBIRD
- Anything with a really strong emotional beat to it that will make me laugh out loud or cry
- Strong female relationships like in DERRY GIRLS or GILMORE GIRLS
- Anything with love letters or an epistolary element embedded throughout the story, especially if there is a speculative twist to it
- Really strong found family particularly in a fantasy setting like SIX OF CROWS
- Banter, banter, and more banter!
Fun facts about me:
I spent a semester in college studying in Galway, Ireland and have been dreaming of going back ever since. My favorite things include cats, Dramione fanfiction, Taylor Swift, a hot cup of tea, traveling, and anything that’s a little magical.
