My Manuscript Wish List®

I’m an associate literary agent at Creative Media Agency. After graduating from the College of William and Mary, I began my journey in publishing with internships at Tule Publishing Group and Liza Dawson Associates. In 2021, I interned at Creative Media Agency before transitioning into an assistant position. I’m thrilled to be building my list! I’m currently looking for both Adult and Young Adult Fiction.

I am particularly looking for stories with atmospheric writing and lovable characters. Send me anything with chosen family, blush-inducing banter, or a messy cast of characters. I’m also always looking to support underrepresented voices and stories, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, and disabled authors.

For Adult:

  • Contemporary Romance
    • I adore enemies to loves, he falls first, and fake dating but I’m open to pretty much any romance trope except for accidental pregnancy
    • I’m a sucker for great banter and playful characters
    • I’m also looking for romance that includes magical realism as well as dark romance but please don’t send me anything with non-consensual content
    • Some favorites include: Till Summer Do Us Part by Meghan Quinn, Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert, My Oxford Year by Julia Whelan, and anything by Ali Hazelwood and Emily Henry. I also love the messiness of Magnolia Parks and the unhinged plots that Tate James weaves.
  • Women’s Fiction
    • I would love some messy women’s fiction similar to Ghosts by Dolly Alderton or Yerba Buena by Nina LaCour. Send me anything following women in their 20s/30s trying to navigate life.
  • Horror
    • If the woods are eerie, I want to read it!
    • I’m interested in any dark folklore, haunted houses, cults/secret societies, liminal spaces, distortions of reality and creepy cryptids (if you have a Bigfoot or mimic mystery/horror please send it to me)
    • I am also looking for clever and unique retellings of classics (Think The Weight of Blood by Holly Jackson).
    • I have such a soft spot for 80s influenced horror such as My Best Friend’s Exorcism and isolated settings (especially if it involves high-altitude mountaineering or hiking gone wrong!)
    • Send me your stories about female rage
    • Some recent favorites include: We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer, Bloom by Delilah Dawson, Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant, and Something in the Walls by Daisy Pearce.
  •  Dark Academia
    • Dark Academia is one of my all time favorite genres. Send me your creepy boarding schools, cult-like friend groups, and the sinister side of academia.
    • All time favorites include: If We Were Villains by M.L. Rio, Bunny by Mona Awad, and The Secret History by Donna Tartt

For Young Adult:

  • Contemporary Romance
    • Cute banter is a must as well as big heart and feelings
    • I love any romance that includes a niche/unique setting or interest such as Dungeons and Drama, Check and Mate, and I’ll Give You the Sun
  • Mystery/Thrillers
    • My favorite authors include Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Maureen Johnson, and Holly Jackson
  • Horror
    • Think House of Hollows or The Weight of Blood
  • Magical Realism
    • I loved Our Infinite Fates by Laura Steven, Belladonna by Adalyn Grace, and What the River Knows by Isabel Ibañez.
  • Favorite recent YA reads: The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Felix Ever After by Karen Callender, Fire Keeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley, Anna K by Jenny Lee, and anything by John Green

I’m not a great fit for:

  • Anything historical (think set before 1970s)
  • Stories that center around grief or the loss of a loved one
  • dystopian settings
  • screenplays, poetry, and short stories

Fun facts about me:

I am deeply intrigued by high-altitude mountaineering, I’d love to read anything where nature is the “villain” (natural disasters, lost camping, folklore horror, etc.), and Taylor Swift has been my favorite artist since her debut album came out!
