Corvisiero Literary Agency

My Manuscript Wish List

I started as a portrait artist and an author, but when I became an agent I loved it so much. My clients are my focus. I have lived in Montana, and Colorado, but I come from Kansas City. I began working for The Corvisiero Agency in October of 2017, following my time at Metamorphosis Literary Agency. I usually run weekly author writing groups at my home. I am a member of Saavy Authors, RWA, Missouri, Kansas City, and Nebraska Writing Guilds and I love writers’ conferences. My B.S. is from Friends University, but I took my English coursework through the University of Missouri. My debut novel, The Key of F, was named a winner in the Ink & Insights literary contest in 2016, and is scheduled for release May 8th 2018.

I am seeking: Young adult literature, fantasy, science fiction, and dystopian fiction. (I am a sucker for romance, too.) Women’s fiction and mystery need to have strong voices, and easily understandable plots. Sometimes, I don’t know I want a book until I read it. If you have a story that you think would fit my areas of interest, go ahead and send it in. I am drawn to faulty heroines with strong voices, real friendships, and super skills with a weapon. As well as a hunky love interest with a tangled plot of his own.

Currently not accepting: screenplays, poetry, picture books, or nonfiction. Everything else is fair game.

I’d like the next…

I’d like the next Caraval in space. Any space operas will do. Being a huge fan of YA and fantasy, I would love some John Green mashed with Rhoda Belleza.  Maybe emergence from underground fallout living. Pirates, just not on the open sea.  I like quirky creativity.
